Hello!
Welcome to the Day in the Life of a Home schooled Girl's blog, powered my blogger. I'm Madison, I'm 12 years old and I own this blog.
I keep a school work schedule of about 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and in the summer its 10:00AM to 12:00PM. In the summer time I do extra reading, science, English and math. I go to a co-op every Monday during the school year and take one month off of school in the winter and one month off of school in the summer.
In my spare time I like to paint, read, write, photography and bake. For photography I photograph nature and my American Girl Dolls. My favorite books to read are The Alice series, Cooper kids adventures and any mysteries, adventures or horrors. In writing I like to write short stories and hopefully one day a novel.
I live with my mom and dad, as well as my nine year old brother and 3 year old sister. My brother and sister are also both home schooled. The whole family's pets are 3 dogs (Molly(boxer), Alice (Beagle) and Junie (Chihuahua). We have 2 cats Milo and Kitty and then a turtle (Red eared slider) named Crackers.
I use My Fathers World for school and use Life of Fred for math, right now I'm using Wordsmith for English. This year when I start 9th grade I'm going to be learning about ancient history and literature. Cant wait!
One of the only reasons I'm doing this blog is because my Mom says she think it will be interesting to create a blog that's not from the home school teacher's perspective but from the student's perspective, which is something that we both cant seem to find.
